It's Been Awhile...

Well, 2009 is in full swing! Things have been busy, and I allowed myself a break from the blog for a couple of weeks. We've had some good time at home, and have enjoyed the few days of 60 degree weather we've had this month (Although as I write this, there is snow on the ground). So here are a few pics of what we have been up to lately.


Ella has really been enjoying her Christmas presents. This is her new favorite chair from Doerhoff. She LOVES this thing.

Another one of her favorites is the dress up outfit....namely the sunglasses from said outift....from Aunt Jenny and Uncle Adam. She loves the dress, but as you can see, the sunglasses are a MUST with every outfit.

Here is Ella, hanging out in her PJ's, playing with her fridge farm. She is always grabbing anything of mine she can....here she is sporting my headband. She puts it on herself and actually does a pretty good job!

We were lucky enough to have Jess come and visit one day earlier this month. We had a great day just catching up, laughing, opening presents (!), eating lunch and even made time for a little shopping :) We love you, Jess!

And of course we have made plenty of time for the park. This is Ella's favorite place to go. The only hard part is getting her to leave....

For years, my mother-in-law and I have been planning to make homeade tortillas together. The recipe is a classic from Tom's grandmother. They are DELICIOUS! Here I am with my first ever homeade tortilla!!
