Fun Times

We have had a lot of fun over the past several weeks! It seems like there has been a lot going on, and while I have a great Valentine's post to make, I am a little obsessive about making sure my blog posts are in chronological order. I know, seems silly. But if I post something new before I've posted on something we did 2 weeks ago, it makes me nuts. Just the little bit of type A in me, I guess :)
Anyway, a few weekends ago, we had Summer and Hannon over to eat pizza and play some Wii. There aren't too many pics, but here are a few:

My handsome hubby and I. You will noticed he is ready to go with Wii remote in hand.

Summer and Hannon. So cute!

They loved the golfing. Here is Sum perfecting her swing.

Here is Hannon....he was very serious about his golf game :)

Another great time last month was the annual Russell House Benefit/Trivia night. We have been before, and it always proves to be a great time. We had a table with our friends Adam & Joannie, Larry & Kathy, and some friends of theirs.

Tom and Adam, enjoying a little (ok, a lot) of vino.

The four of us...although it is hard to see us over all the food and spirits ;)

Joannie and I. We have worked together for almost 3 years. This girl is great, and let me tell you, SO much fun.

Next post, our trip to the Magic House with Ella. What a GREAT day that was! And then eventually, Valentine's Day. Hope you all had a great one with your hubbies!

Fun in the Snow!

Last week, we were so excited to have some great winter weather! This was Ella's first chance to play in the snow. It hardly snowed at all last year, and the one time it did, she was sick. So we took full advantage when Tom and I got off work early because of the weather. We headed home, bundled Ella up (think little brother on A Christmas Story..) and headed outside. She just kept saying, "Nooooo!!!!" (her version of the word "snow").

In order to play in the snow, a girl MUST have some pink snow boots. She thinks these are pretty awesome.

All bundled up, taking it all in!

Ella and Daddy

Ella and Mommy (why are my eyes so WIDE?!)

Catching some snow on her tongue :)
Of course, Cooper had to come out and play too. Here he is wrestling with Tom.
After some more snow fell...it's a little deeper here!
My snow angel. Isn't she cute?

Back inside, rosy cheeks, ready for hot chocolate!!

It was really fun playing in the snow again. It has been a long time since we had the chance to do that! Everytime we would come back inside, Ella would cry. It's hard with the little ones because they won't tell you when they're frost-bitten! I had to rely on the color of her cheeks :)
Hope everyone enjoyed the snow!
